I got till step 3, I allowed my server through my firewall and the server said done, when i tried to join it, it said “Can’t reach Server”.

jacklin213

when i try to join with my IPV4, it says http://prntscr.com/14pihz and when i use 127.0.0.1 it says the same. Also when i try using local host it says Can’t resolve host name. Server-ip= is empty in my properties file.

“Can’t reach Server”. Also i have another question, what if someone in my house wants to join the server too? he uses my external IP or the Internal one?

jacklin213

I have these same problems and followed this forum to a tee, but still no luck. I have McAfee as well and opened ports through Windows Firewall, and through McAfee Firewall. However, no one can reach my server via External IP. Does anyone else have suggestions?
